Anyone have any knowledge on boat skins my boat needs a paint job and they told me it would cost 7,000.00 trying to find something cheaper to make my baby look good.

Well, we would help you if you would provide more info.

How we can we help with just a "my boat looks bad, how can I make it better?" type question.

If you are talking about a wrap, yes they are expensive. But there are partial wraps available as well if your boat only needs partial coverage.

What kind of boat is it? How bad is the damage? Do you have any pics?

Paint or wrap are two divergent ideas. If the boat is older and despite wet sanding the gel is rough you probably need a new coating. If you just want a temporary fix perhaps a wrap though I'm not a big fan.

In most situations a good buffing can solve your problems.
