Can I be perfectly honest haugy, these kind of remind me of a charlie sheen 2 1/2 men bowling shirt. The first also kind of looks like a tux. 2nd is my favorite of the above though. Like your boat very clean looking.

I like your idea, but I'd prefer to have an entirely dark-colored bimini to block as much light/heat as possible. Can't imagine the white would do anywhere near as good of a job and would just create more glare.

Thats's a valid thought. There is a picture in the bottom of their gallery with a Nautique with a blue/gray/white bimini. And the center section is about 75% of the overall bimini.
So if I went with white on mine, there would be a lot. Since it's sunbrella material, I would think it would still create a shadow.
My problem with all black is the heat. While it will block out all sun, it also captures all sun. I've been near biminis that were pure black and you could feel your head getting hotter and hotter just being near it.
My old one was gray, and it worked perfectly. Blocked sun, wasn't hot to the touch, blended in with the tower. I thought about doing that again, but with such a nice bimini, I wasn't sure if I wanted to add a better look to it than just plain gray.
I'm still on the fence.
What about something like this?

Agree with gnarshredd the first one of the second set is by far my favorite.

Dark biminis get hot. I would go with the lighter colors for the main and maybe dark accents.

I shoulda clarified. I like the first one you posted that's white in the middle with the black sides & gray accents.
Maybe go with the third one (gray sides, white middle, black accents) if you want to be a little cooler, that'll look good too I think.

I've been emailing them back and forth, they have been very helpful in getting my questions answered quickly.
Here is a Moomba that has an all black one on it. While it does look good, it looks hot as well.
I'm going to try and stick with lighter colors and black accents.
The other reason for trying to avoid white as the primary color is the boat isn't true white. It's off white, and a pure white canvas would really stand out on it, and not flow well.

| Maybe im just boring but I think a solid light grey looks super clean. Espesially if you are going to be putting silver/grey decals on the boat.

anw7405, actually, I'm debating that. My old Supra had a light gray bimini, and it was very clean, and blended well with the boat. Could barely notice it. I'm not sure though if it would blend as well on this boat. I'm asking them about the color swatches as they are a little misleading. If they have a true silver color, I might go with that.
Pic of old boat with gray bimini, it's folded up, but it matches the boot on it.

Ah, was hard to tell from the picture. I think gray would be safe then.

| I'd stick with the straight gray, it just looks nice and clean. Or maybe the first one of the second group that you posted. If the "natural" color is white like it looks in the pictures I'd stay away from that. Man once you get some dirt and pollen mixed in there the white is going to show it all.

I like the grey with black accents

I like the gray with black accents also.
Trust me, I have a solid black bimini and that thing gets freaking hot! I think it makes the overall temp in the boat warmer. Would most definately stick to lighter colors.

haha I'm sure he does, it's probably made from cricket blood. But that white is going to need to be cleaned every time you open the bimini, that's going to get old quick.

I like the solid grey/silver or minimal striping. We have kind of a light to medium blue top and even ours gets a little warm. I'd stick with the lighter color for that reason and also I like the idea that it kind of blends with the tower and some of your accent coloring.

That does look pretty good. I should have written "darker than white" above instead of just "dark." Mine is navy blue and it does a good job without getting too incredibly hot. I imagine any red, lighter than navy blue, or gray would do a great job without getting too hot.

Looks good haugy. I think you'll be happy with the choice and it will look good on your boat. Once you get it on and get pics, post them up.

| hey Haugy thanks for posting a pic of my boat (#2 at top) lol! I live in one of the dirtiest places there is and I've yet to have to clean the white accents after two seasons. your final choice looks real good, you'll be happy. Make sure to get ss hardware, it's worth it as it looks real rich. This is my second one from them and it's trouble free and top notch stuff. mine was made to match the interior colors and patterns and matches perfectly! You'll love it!

A black bimini is still going to be WAY more comfortable than no bimini. Does it really matter if the bimini itself gets hot??? You guys are splitting hairs.
I'd absolutely get this one.

I went with the cadet gray with two black stripes. I've been working on some stereo stuff so I haven't pulled it out for pictures yet.
I can't say enough good things about Tower Biminis. They held my hand all the way through the process, answering every question I had. The bimini itself is very nice. Solid, good fit, and looks great.
I've seen that Nautique star and that is impressive. I thought about getting a small Supra wave on mine, but oh well.
But yeah, I'm pumped about having this thing on my boat this year.
Pics soon.
