hey guys.. so im new to the forum and just found it. well done, its a pretty cool site.
heres my situation. ive been wakeboarding for a while but have alwasy had older and more basic setups. id say im intermediate (clearing the wake, spins, grabs, etc). im finally buying myself a competent set up . the problem with me is i live in southeast wisconsin, and there isnt any wakeboard store within 200 miles of me. im buying online, so i have no way to demo or even really try on anything. im looking for new bindings and virtually everything now is lace up. ive only had non lace open toe bindings and every time ive tried lace ups they always seem to not hold tight. i prefer open toe just because we go out with the family and freinds alot so someother people use my set up from time to time. plus i dont 400 bucks to drop on boots, especially if i cnat try them on first. however, i was wondering in anyone could advise me on some good bindings. im looking in the 100-150 range, which is basically close outs online of past year models. i was looking into the ronix divides from 2011 i found some on closeout for 139. i wear a size 10.5-11 shoe, so i would think the 7.5-11 would fit me being on the upper end of the scale. would this be a good decision? i also found a pair of cwb zeus's floor models on an ebay store for like 100 shipped, and there brand new. would these be better/even be true to fit for me? i would just hate to buy a boot and have it be too big or uncomfortable. any advice would be great i just dont want to be out a bunch of money for soemthing i could have found out an issue and avoided in the first place. thank you anybody in advance who helps me out.
also i just ordered a 2011 ronix viva 140 . from the specs the board semed to be what i prefer, as far as wider in the middle and skinnier nose, plus rocker pop seemed pretty good with their shape. anyone have any input on this board? im not like jumping 15 feet in the air or doing crazy flips, but i want something with good pop since we dont have a high tower or anything like that on our boat |

| I have the Slingshot options and I love them. They are open toe and have three velcro straps so you can get them as tight as you want. i even got a large size so my husband could use the same board. I wear a women's 8 shoe and he wears a mens 11. They are very adjustable and comfortable for both of us. |
