| Hey I'm originally a surfer but I've always wanted to also learn how to wakeboard and maybe do it on the side.Any suggestions on how to get started and what I should do or what I need. |

Do you live near a cable park? or do you have any friends with boats? Another way would be to try and book a private wakeboard lesson with a local wakeboard school. _________________ Wakeskating

ripcurl9485, once you read around and come upnwith any questions that you might possibly have post them here. As a fellow beginner I have learned quite a bit from just reading and getting answers from people that are more experienced. As they all told me dont be afraid to ask questions. _________________ A little part of me dies inside every time I see an $80,000 Malibu Wakesetter pulling a tuber. |

| ripcurl9485, Like flixmaster asked, what are your options as far as learning goes? Have any friends with boats or who wakeboard already who could teach you? |

| ripcurl9485, Perfect. Just make sure to get out there with your buddies as much as possible and see if they'll let you use their gear. They should be able to teach you. Just remember to be patient with it. Some people get it the first few tries, others it can take all afternoon/a couple sets to just stand up. |

GnarShredd, Dont get frustrated. I was one of those that it took all day and only stood up a couple times:) _________________ A little part of me dies inside every time I see an $80,000 Malibu Wakesetter pulling a tuber. |
