I'm rocking a 1970 Whaler (Katama Model) that has served me well down here in the ten thousand islands where wakeboard boats run aground...often. I just did a recent refit. Here's what I did

Modifications:

    2005 125hp Mercury...overpowered
The Deck is Line X'ed then painted with Zspar
New SS Bow light and cleat.
    Rear anchor light
Cut and modified console (wish I could find a smaller one)
    Full Stereo + 1000watt Subwoofer
    Under console LED's from www.floledlightingdesign.com
Battery relocated underneath Console (after pictures were taken)
Permanent 16 gallon fuel tank and console fuel fill added
    Cooler, Livewell, Seat recovered.
    Removed stern grab rails

BEFORE: (this is the best I could find)

AFTER:

So what are you non-Axis, Tige, Nautique, Mastercraft riders using?

I ride an outboard here as well. Reasons being that wakeboard boats are ridiculously overpriced and an outboard is so easy to maintain! We are running a 1850 Panache (local brand) with a 200hp Yamaha Vmax. Waketower is on, but can only fit +- 250kgs ballast + 9 people. For what we deal with, it produces a decent wake, biggest we've gotten it is knee high.

But does the trick. Guys are still landing some tricks behind it, like tantrums, backrolls and the occasional raley.

We are just stoked to get out on the water though and thats all that really matters.

With a full cooler in the back and a few ladies on the bow you can get a decent knee high wake. If you can backflip at the speed of light you can land one Very Happy.

It was more for getting us out on the water and creating new experiences, and it's served us well!

1997 Regal 2100 just put the joystick on and love it. Now all I need is someone who wants to ride

Here is my 2000 Glastron GX 205. I have big plans to make this boat even better! Good luck to everyone and your personal projects this winter.
