Is Lake Weir a good spot to wakeboard ?

Hi there,

My daughter is heading for Ocala FL for a month of horse back riding shows. I'm from Canada and wonder if it's worth bringing my boat down. My son wakeboard and I read that Lake Weir was decent ? Is it a good spot ? any good public launch ? Any info really appreciated.

Yea its a nice lake, The ramp is on the west side of the lake between Little Lake Weir a little ways off US 27 theirs also another smaller lake right off SR 40 which goes form Ocala to Ormond Beach.

It is a great spot. I've ridden there countless times.
