I used to be into RC planes when I was younger. My Dad and I would build them from scratch and I would fly them. He actually sent me the video....which is probably only the third email he's ever sent me.
That flying was pretty impressive. A friend of mine is huge into RC planes. He has taken me up to the local field to let me use a trainer plane. It's kind of fun but not something I would spend my time on.
If you are looking for a giant group of dweebs to make yourself feel better about, check out the local flying club. I understand the older retired crowd because it keeps them busy but the younger guys are WEIRD! _________________
