|
|
I'm looking to get my son started wakeboarding behind a 24' x 9' centre console (see photo of a similar boat) without a tow pylon. The transom tow rings are about 8' apart, and the outboards extend 2' behind that.
I'm looking at 'fits any boat' bridles on websites which are described as 2 x 4' = 8' long, and I'm thinking 'how is that going to clear the engines on my boat?' Have I missed something obvious, or do we need a longer bridle?
Thanks, Max |

Sorry I don't have the specific answer to your question but it did occur to me that you might consider making your own bridle out of a section of non-stretch wakeboard line. A non-stretch line is imperative for wakeboarding. Attaching one to a bridle that stretches would seem to defeat the purpose. Just my take on it.
Also, I'll go ahead and state the obvious, albeit probably not practical. Trade in that center console on a towboat with a tower and forget all this bridle foolishness. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

True, some us can't. But some of us can afford 24' twin-outboard offshore fishing boats. I believe that boat runs around $70k new. That buys a WHOLE lot of wakeboat. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
