Im looking at the hyperlite franchise. I like the board, I have ridden the 138 and I liked it. I weigh 175. Should I go with the 138 or should I jump to the 142. I am just over the weight recommendation for the 138. thanks yall

138.

138 is bigger than the small size of most boards and plenty enough to float 175 lbs. I've always liked a smaller board because it gives you nimbleness and control through turns/edge changes.

You'd be fine on the 142, but I'd say go with the 138 unless you're extremely tall and you need wider stance options.
