Hey guys been browsing your forums for a while now so decided to join and post some pics of my wakeskate build.

It is highly experimental as i am using i high density foam core with epoxy glass shell.... hoping it wont delam with flexing!!! haha

Anyway some pics so far.

Foam is so thick because thats what i had laying around.

Using old board to copy the 3 stage rocker.

Layer of cheap chop mat just to hold the foam in shape. will be sanded off after.

Shaped foam block ready for final shaping.

Starting to hollow out the block. next time will definately buy thinner foam and build up the deck shape :/.

Almost finished shaping core.

Getting ready for first layer of glass.

First layer complete.

Hoping to ride it this weekend but have 2 more layers to do first and wait for cure so we'll see.

Rob

So an update on that board.
It worked haha for a while and then we broke it so will be building the next one a lot stronger.
Board had a lot of pop and was smoooth to ride.

i have designed a new board in google sketchup and will have the foam core cnc machine this time to make it more accurate.
