is the bottom of the byerly or catalyst are they like molded? i thoguht i saw a picture of one that was.. or are they jsut flat ? if you will plz post pics of ur HL wakeskates

ive never personal riden one but from what other people have said it makes it a lil more gripier with out being to gripy or something like that. Im sure somebody will be on in a min that can tell you.

I ride a catalyst 112 without fins. Compared to a cassette finless, it tracks better for sure. But you can still slide the board without effort. My guess is that hl will make the channel a bit deeper on the next model wakeskates.

Surely it helps you lock in better on landings, I land on my cassette concave every time wake to wake but the board is too squirrely to settle in. Now I know its mostly me and not the board but I would love to try the lengthier Catalyst to see how it grips on landings.
Then of course edging, step down rails and channels help the board lock in its edge by channeling the water, same as on a wakeboard.

i love my catalyst 116 no fins allows the board to slide but the molded ribs aloow hard cuts and catched landings. BUy it!
