I was trying raleys back in Feb-Mar on System 2.0 but then crashed really hard and haven't tried them since.
Also in April i've picked up an injury in my back (herniated disc). I have started riding again in the begining of this month and I feel like i'm ready to try raleys again but i just have this fear of "what if...i hurt myself and so on..."
Do you guys have any techniques on ...self assurance, i guess?
And be nice! I'm a girl |

start with a wakeskate - the load and release bit may be a little harder when you start (due to the aggressive edge that you'll need to hold) but with the wakeskate you won't have the board attached, making every fall a faceplant |

Vea, As ediotism said, starting on a wakeskate can be a huge help to get the motion down. I have a big mental block on cable raleys for some reason (i've done a bunch, but havn't really since I got a new board, totally a mental thing) but I might throw a few on the skate to get back in to the swing of things.
The biggest advice is to just believe you can do it. It's actually a really easy trick. |

Do it on a day your feeling crazy! I said I would never attempt crossing a wake, and then one day I was feeling like a daredevil so I cut into it as hard as I could and went for it othere then that fall a couple of times and it should make you feel less apt to hurt yourself, and youll want to try again |
