I don't know what you tried to link, but it didn't work!

I'm guessing this: http://espn.go.com/action/freeskiing/story/_/id/7026436/squaw-valley-alpine-meadows-merge

This has been a long time coming. I'm pretty sure there are already concrete bases for a lift to converge the two resorts, on the back side of Headwall.

http://www.squaw.com/season-pass

So anyone going for it? I think this might be my pass for the season.

Had not heard of that combo. Heavenly/Northstar are the only other combo pass I know of this season.

EDIT: http://www.kirkwood.com/site/tickets-passes/season-passes

Just saw this triple threat. I don't see any reason this wouldn't work.

there are no plans to link the ski areas via a chairlift or tram.

Uh huh.

Looks like the guy who owns the land in between has other ideas...

Bottom of lift, Alpine side:

That would be sick if squaw was included in the triple threat, considering I'm already getting it for $240 through my schools snowboard club Cool . crazy deal considering I'm still having to shell out $350 for a slightly restricted pass to Sugarbowl when I don't want to battle the crowds at the big resorts
