Is it possible to do a cable trick behind a boat if not enough wake is provided? My anchor point is about shoulder length high, but I could get it higher if I had to by starting a father and son project of making a pylon. So with a non stretch rope and much practice, could I do a cable trick outside of the wake?
Thanks _________________ I plan on learning to do air tricks off of our pontoon boat wake somehow. I understand pontoon wake is choppy and small, but we still have a while to go with payments on the pontoon boat |

I assume you're talking about air tricks. Yes, they're quite possible. You can't to do an air KGB 5 like on a cable, but air tantrums (bel air) and even air roll to reverts aren't that hard for a high level rider. _________________ rally to the wake |

Air tricks are definitely possible. The cable is pulling you from ~25 ft off the water so the tension is pulling you up. You're not going to generate air by loading the line on a shoulder height, so any air you get is going to come from your launch off the water. I throw backrolls off small rollers but struggle with doing it just on flat water. Never tried any other air tricks. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
