it's something strange between a front roll and a faceplant.
Edit: After watching it a few times, i've seen it's just a brutal faceplant

the vid was 2 min long, his crash was at 1:10, he's going towards the wake.... fair to say i wasn't expecting the crash to happen there... ouchie

jesus that is a good one! looked like he was charging in to try a hs backroll but let off his edge so bad that he caught his front edge on take off

Jet, GnarShredd, I hope you are kidding. After a really bad crash where you are not sure if the rider is OK you should definitely power turn and get back there ASAP. Power turns are 99% of the time bad, but when someone's life is potentially in danger, that is an exception.

That was nuts! Yeah I thought no power turns too, but obviously justified after a hard fall like that. Dude's pretty hardcore ready to go again right after that. From the looks of it I'd have been crawling back in the boat to take a breather.

omg that's exactly what i was thinking I couldn't believe no one else had said it yet and then there you were, right before my post. If I took that crash I'd be done for the day or at LEAST for a couple sets until the headache went away. He didn't even take a breather, NOTHING, just took the rope and out he went again. Talk about concussssion.

Also if you don't powerturn and go back for your buddy after that you're cold blooded Wink
