I've heard that early 2000 Gator boards had slanted holes drilled thru them that acted somewhat like a rooster tail on a ski but were functional, has anyone seen these or have a link to them? _________________ ☆PHOENIX WINCH☆ FACEBOOK YOUTUBE
I don't remember really seeing anything like that from Gator (at least not on the market as a final product). The only board I can think of with tech similar was that one Byerly board from Hyperlite that had a couple little fins on the corners that kind of dug in to let water flow over them. That design was somewhat copied with the "Valhalla" from Obrien with its removable 'fins' on the corners of the board.
GnarShredd, WAIT! I've been thinking about this all day and It's sounding more and more familiar. I can't find anything on it (admittedly I only looked for a couple minutes) but I THINK it was called the G-Flow or something similar.
i think they were working on that but never released it.. I remember them talking about it at Surf Expo when Boardstop was a gator dealer. _________________ Wakeskating Ronix Wakeboards Wakeboarding
