Hey guys, I was out riding my 09 byerly monarch yesterday and had quite the day. I stomped a ts front roll to revert and on the landing I heard a crack, my front(right) binding pulled the screw mounts out of the board and I broke a rib and bruised others. I can see where the fiberglass is split on the side rails and has cracks through it. Has anyone else had problems with this board? _________________

I've broken 2 x 2008 54" Monarchs the exact same way. Both times they sent me a brand new 2010, but that's a completely different board and I hate it / won't ride it.
They changed the 2008/2009 (same exact board w/ different graphics) because its a weak core. Its super light but very weak, and they got tired of broken boards so they went to a new, stronger, heavier core in 2010+.
I am now riding my 3rd 2008 as I really haven't found another board I like near as much as my Monarch.
What I can say about Byerly is his company really stands behind their products with their lifetime warranty. Which reminds me if anyone wants a brand new 2010 54" Monarch I seem to have a couple for sale!
Best,
