looks like you just narrowed your choice down to either an A22, or a 21V

What's the draw for a play-pen and padded walk-through? You have little kids that like to crawl around on their knees?

I agree. Padded walk through and playpen are pain in the ass. Everyone that I know that bought then new with their boat Playpen. Never use them
What's most important? Wake? Or playpen? Then pick the boat

| I love my playpen and padded walkthrough, but I've got kids who love it. Throw some towels over the windshield and the padded walkthrough is prime napping space. Haha.

| I'd like to hear your impressions of the wakes behind the boats you demo. Pm me if you want any suggestions on how to weigh the a22 for a good demo set.

IDK...we have a padded walkthru in our current boat and really like it. Good place to 'do the deed' . And when I got my kids with us...well yeah, they love roaming around the boat on their knees.
I'm open to change though. What are some advantages or uses for the open walkthrough that you guys have noticed? Store a cooler there or something?

| I like both playpen and traditional open walk-through seating. With the open setting it seems easier to fit more adults in the bow though, cause they can leave their legs down. We have the removable pad and usually leave it out.

I'm with rmaytee, I don't have a problem with a play-pen, but the boats that I ride that have it, no one sits up front. For an adult, it's kind of a PITA to get up there. I can see where kids would like it, but I think given the choice, I'd prefer walk-through for ease and comfort. If you're going to have 6-8 adults on board the added leg room is nice, and it does give you extra storage.
For me, it would be like #30 on the list of most important things about a boat. In fact, I wouldn't include any of your 3 on my top 10.
I think mine would be
Wake Quality/Shape
Price
Build Quality
Reliability
Resale value
Aesthetics
Ballast/Wedge/weighting features
...
