I can't imagine anyone spending $400 for a fancy wireless device that could conceivably get damaged or lost on a hard fall when hand signals are free and just work.

Its a good idea but way over priced, I dont think the hardware itself would cost more than 100 dollars, why would they overprice it so much?
Also who tends to change speed that often? Never met someone who had different preferences of speed for different tricks, so it would only really be used a few times, then you'd want the speed to be the same everytime, which is what PP is for.

Good point. Once I know my speed I rarely change it. Behind my boat it's 21 MPH kneeboarding and 20.5 wakeboarding. I might ride a little different behind other peoples boats but I'll just tell 'em 21 and roll with it, if it doesn't feel right for the wake and what I'm comfortable with I just give a signal faster or slower and then we quickly know what speed I want and it's always the same behind that boat. I don't see many people buying this.

I went ahead and bought one of these. It was real easy to hook up and actually works really good!

May be a bit of a novelty but definitely cool, should be super durable and built into a tow handle that would make it incredibly convenient

I agree that for the price, hand signals will work for me at the present time. And i dont ride behind any boats with perfect pass so I guess that kind of eliminates the ability to use one of these.

It would be real cool if it was built into the handle! The nice part about having it as an arm band is you can use it for wake surfing.
