I am looking at an A20 I came from a SAN 210 is this going to be a bigger interior? Surf wave going to be nice? Its a 2011 with 200 hours I think I can get it at a great price.

Thanks

The interior will be much bigger than a pre-2007 210. The wake will be wider, rampier and bigger. The surf wake is nice. A new more surf friendly platform is an option for 2012, which makes the wave insane. You can always get the new platform later.

I love love love the a20. Do yourself a favor and demo it with factory ballast plus the wedge plus the 1k front plug n play sac and 750s in the rear hatches. The wake is slamming with that setup.

is my math correct?
factory ballast = 800
bow sack = 1000
rear 750s = 1500
wedge = 1200 (i remember malibu posting this number if i recall correctly)

thats 4500 pounds! i think my old mans outboard hurricane would have a "slamming" wake with that setup Laughing

Well, I'm not sure I do.

There are very few boats on the market right now that you can put 4k in ballast in and (a) get out of the hole; or (b) have a huge clean wake that doesn't wash or roll at 23mph. This is one of the things that makes the Axis boats so special. You can slam them and have an amazing, consistent, pro-level, wake at 22-23 mph at 70-85ft.

So.... stang almost bought an axis but went with a moomba, chatt has a ridiculous axis and sings their praises when someone has axis questions. Somehow stang has become pretentious towards chatt's posts and they are constantly having passive aggressive spats.... are you guys gonna kiss on the mouth at the end of this? Either way you both have nice boats Very Happy

na were more similiar than ya think, i post up when moomba questions are asked, he posts up when axis questions are asked, we point out each other inaccuracies. but i got nothing but love for him. especially for saying good bye to the big 3 and there rediculous prices.
were both very active on the forums, and both very proud of our brands and familiar with the industry. like i said more alike than you think. hes just got alot more money lol Laughing hahaha
