stokes, thank you, there are a few reasons for the larger hub, there aren't many 1 1/4" hubs, its aluminum and lightweight, the 5 1/4" bolt pattern seems to be more of an industry standard allowing for split sprockets (if used for spool and primary sprocket), and I like the style
