I installed a pair of wet sounds xs-65 speakers to replace to horrid junk ones that came with my boat. Looooove how they sound, but its still not enough for me and riders in the bow as my boat only came with 2 speakers in the rear.

I want to run 4 xs-650's in the cockpit and move the 65's to the bow.

Currently I have no amp, I know this is killing the potential of the speakers and will need to shove one somewhere in my boat. I am just confused on how strong of an amp I need to get and how many channels.

Xs-65

60 rms watts
120 peak watts
4 ohms

Xs-650

100 rms watts
200 peak watts
4 ohms

Any help would be appreciated.

You can run a Wet Sounds HT-4. 110x4 Bow pair off chs 1-2 and rear 2 pairs in parallel on chs 3-4. If budget allows you can also use a SYN-4 125x4 the same way for a bit more power.

If you plan on adding a sub. You could use a HT-6 6 ch and run the bow off 1-2, two rear pairs off 3-4 and sub mono on 5-6(300x1)
