they look nice, how many laces on the front, is there 2??

i like the idea of something to keep your heel down, and with the laces should not be too hard to get on and off

I have a pair of ION's and they are great. They R really light and super cush!! The dual lace system makes it easy to snug down the lower and upper parts of the binding just how you like it. If you get a chance U should try them out.

I ride the ION's. I rode the Systems before and they R great bindings but I like the ION's better. The full front lace system in the IONs allows me to adjust the fit better. If I am hitting sliders or just playing around I can loosen them up and if I really want to be connected to the board I can crank them down and feel confident that I won't be ejecting at the wrong time. The ION's R also lighter then the Systems because the material they use for the lace wrap is different then what is used in most bindings. I don't think you could go wrong with either of the binding. Also if you R looking for a rear lace binding check out the EXIT 13. They retail for under $240.00 which is alot less then the other ones on the market. They look pretty nice and must be good because Danial Watkins has been riding them and he won the first 2 stops of the Australian Pro Tour in them!!!

As always, try them out if you get a chance.

JJ thanks ill try them in march when i find a shop around here that carry them and will let me demo them..

I dont like the ultras they are comfortable but they come off too easy and fall apart too fast .they had a ripping problem last few years..I ride belmonts and like them alot but the 02/03's have a overlay problem so im gonna give another company a shot..
