„Let’s do it again!“ Even though the rain kept pouring non-stop during last year’s Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge in Thannhausen everyone loved the event and so there were no doubts about this year’s location – we’ll be back at the Turncable! On July 16th it will be all about great Local Support prices and the direct qualification for the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds in Hamburg.

It didn’t take long for the Turncable in Bavaria to become one of the best addresses in Germany. There are two cables operating in both (!) directions, tons of obstacles, a Sesitec System 2.0 and lots of Caribbean flair. Best possible conditions for a first class wakeboard contest!

And we will definitely make use of those! On Saturday, 16th of July pros and amateurs will take off at both cables at the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge! As there will be no more team format this year, every rider will start by himself. There will be travel money worth 800€ to be won for the top 3 pros and tons of cool prices by Monster Energy, Pro-tec, the Fiat Freestyle Team and Liquid Force for amateurs. And on top of all that, Arnette is giving away brand new sunnies to the top five riders in each category.

And if that wasn’t enough, all participants have furthermore the chance to secure a place at the finals of the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds in Hamburg on the 28th of August. The first two riders in each category will then have to face riders such as Tom Fooshee, Lior Sofer and of course last year’s winner Frederic von Osten!

But that’s not all, there will be a few more goodies for the participants of the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge: a free rider’s BBQ on the sun deck, no starter fee and entrance is free as well! The turncable guys will also give away free tickets for the cables from Friday till Sunday. And of course there will be a proper contest party at the Beach Club! The Famous Deck Team and DJ This Is Nuts will turn the night into day. These should be enough reasons to schedule a trip to the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge!
