2011 Watson Hybrid Giveaway Package

So my local boardshop (in Colorado) had this free giveaway decked out with all kinds of stuff. The main giveaway was a brand new 2011 Liquid Force Watson Hybrid with the Watson LTD bindings. Also included was a brand new 2011 Watson Vest, brand new Liquid Force comp rope + handle, Watson edition Dragon sunglasses, Billabong clothing, Liquid Force t-shirt, Liquid Force New Era hat, and some Monster gear. It was valued at over $1500.

All you had to do was sign up on the website and you had a chance to win all this gear. So I signed up one day when I was randomly on the website and began telling all my buddies I was gonna win. I became so cocky about it saying I can't wait to ride the Watson.

Then yesterday after the contest ended I get off the boat in the parking lot and I'm with all my homies and I got an email on my phone... First word said CONGRATS! and I knew it was from the shop saying I won. Then I went down to the store and they had all the stuff ready so I copped it all. There was a two page spread in Alliance Wake mag for the contest too.

I'm absolutely stoked that I won and it is so weird because I was overly confident about it. It's still unreal. I took the Watson out today for a few runs and that thing is ridiculous. Best board I have ever ridden by far. I'll post some pics up of all the stuff soon for you guys.

I'm so happy about it and just thought there wouldn't be a better place to share than here!

Thanks! I can't believe I won after being so confident the whole time. It's insane. Yeah, I will post some pics tonight... Most of them are on my gf's camera. I guess I'm gonna be on their website and stuff because they took like 50 pics of me holding up all the gear making sure the sponsors were showing haha.

I've taken the board out pretty much every single day since I got it. I've owned two pairs of Ronix Bindings and can say that these Watson bindings are ridiculous. I feel like I am wearing socks out there...

It has been so much fun having this setup and all that other gear. I will be forever in debt to the boardshop that had the contest.
