|
|
Not sure how much traffic this site gets, but the other site I belong to ( SUpra Forums) seems to be down, it was recently hacked, and I am sure it was hacked again, so I had to fill my Jones for surfing knowledge and found this site.
I have an older Supra Saltare and am trying to do some surfing behind it, last weekend I had 6 people and about 1000 lbs of ballast, the wake was ok but too steep on the Drivers side, better but steep on the passenger side, the only thing I can think of is the obvious "MORE WEIGHT"!
Then on of my buddies suggested gettig a new prop, I have a 3 blade now, not sure what the pitch is, probably the stock or worse, but have read this can make a huge differance. It will clean the wake up a bit. Any suggestions on what kind, size, pitch would be best for my boat? 4 blade?
Well anyways, thanks for any advice- just trying to go ropeless! |

I don't think a prop is going to change how the wake/wave forms. Only the boats hull, position/angle in the water, and the speed will determine the shape and size of the wake. |
