Do any of you play games online with others? What games do you enjoy playing online.

I am a big Unreal Tournament 99 fan.

i play starcraft-brood war, counterstrike, a little ut2003. usually counterstrike and ut2003 on our lan or on a random server.

I use to play Starsiege Tribes through my high school days, then Tribes 2 came out and completely destroyed the game/community. Then again after playing the game for four years it's hard to put up with it anymore.

I live and breathe EVERQUEST, I have had 2 divorces over it, as soon as I leave work I go home and play until it is time to go to bed, I spend my real money I make working to buy fake money in Everquest (thanks ebay!), I buy other peoples characters off ebay for thousands of dollars (thanks ebay!), I quit all weekend activities so I can play all weekend, when I am at work all I do is talk to fellow Everquest fans.

....just kidding...I actually never played it before....ever seen these Everquest freaks in action before?....see above....they need to get a grip on reality.

Did you hear about that guy who commited suicide over everquest and his parents were sueing Sony? I can't exactly remember what happend, but I guess he had played for a few years and something got screwed up or something and he losts his character and he got so depressed over it or something like that. Fact of that matter is...Remember It's just a game and there is more to life than sitting in a room staring at a computer screen for endless amounts of time...ie: Wakeboarding! Smile

chuck...total agreement with u there. but its a lil hard to go wakeboarding when theres 6 inches of ice on your lake and its -10. Mad

damn winter...thats y video games r a must for winter...but i still do play them in the summer, usually at night with the rest of the "crew"...unless theres some party......

Chris I wasn't bashing the fact that people play games, I play games too especially during the winter. I just dont see how people can sit at a computer playing a game for 10-12 hours a day. To me that would seem like a toal waste, but I guess that is their hobby like wakeboarding is mine and I could easily spend 10-12 hours on the lake.

chuck - didnt say u were bashing video games....sorry if i came across that way. total agreement with u again, id love to spend 10-12 hours a day for 365 days on the lake with friends. but since we cant, then yeah video games r a must. also, referring to the ppl who sit in front of a computer for 10-12 hours...i guess thats just their passion or work...whichever one u want to choose...
