it looks like on some of them you are trying to throw the trick a little bit to soon. dig your edge hardest at the bottem of the wake and try to explode upwards this will throw you through the rotation . On some of them you really just should have held on and you would have rode away though |

It looks like you're throwing them way too mexican. Try more of a normal style by leaning more over the tail. That is going to be tough to land consistently if you keep throwing them that mexican. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Well a regular backroll is more of a cartwheel motion than a backflip. When you duck your head off the wake, lean toward the tail of your board, which will put you closer to a normal backroll.
I throw mine slightly mexican. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

From the little I watch of it around the 1 min mark, you just need to hold on to the rope bro and keep it pull in. You rotation is slowing down because you let the handle out. Keep it in, and HOLD on to it. |

hawkster0001, no one tries to do a mexican roll, it's an ugly trick. Only reason to learn it is if you want to start taking them to blind. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
