If you look at your weight rating plate on your boat. What do you think it means??
For example 12 people or 2000 lbs...
BUT
Does that include the factory ballast?
Or is that factory ballast plus 2000 lbs of people and gear? _________________ Wakeskating

if your boat comes with ballast standard and was not a factory option, id have to believ the weight rating would have to be bllast weight included with your weight as it could be considered "gear" but if your loading your boat up, just dont be stupid is what id say lol

The capacity plate does not include ballast or fuel IIRC. _________________ wakeboards

my boat is rated for 7 persons or 1050 lbs, we had 4 people and probably close to 1000 lb in gear (winch, generator, rail, and more) stupid but we made it _________________ ☆PHOENIX WINCH☆

I'm pretty sure that plate gets ignored. Everyone I know runs more ballast than total weight listed on the capacity plate.

Listed weight on a nautique is in addition to factory ballast. Says right on te plate. IIRC CC is the only mfg doing this. My 2008 SANTE 220 is 2050 lbs, above any weight in factory ballast tanks.
