Notice the wash on the wake as he's hitting it. The driver is turning the boat away from the rider as he cuts into the wake, this makes the wake steeper and more poppy for big airtime like Harley wants for massive spins like those.

not sure if its a dumper. looks like hes just cutting hardenough to roll the wake over. boat seems to be going in a straight line.

is he not wearing a life jacket?

PimpinD2, it's definitely a dumper. Given, he is cutting harder. However, looking in older, clearer videos of his 1080's, you can see the path of the boat very clearly and it is arced, showing that it's a dumper.

This isn't directed towards you, Kent2010, but before this gets out of hand; to all those who are worried about him or others who do not wear vest, it isn't your life the person is risking. It is a decision they make, just like not wearing a seat belt. It has no effect on your well being. Quiet worring about it.

It is no different if you get in a car without a seat belt.

He's wearing a vest. Harley's not a moron and his dad even said on WakeWorld that he would pretty much kick his ass if he ever rode without one.

It's very obvious at the fist pump after the BS10 that he has a red/brown/tan-ish vest on. The colors from the crappy quality vid blend it to make it seem there's no vest.

BrianABE, you need to understand that the reason people get fired up when pro's or anyone else posting videos don't wear vests is because they are then promoting going vest-less.

It's not that people get their panties in a bunch because they're afraid that ONE rider will get hurt. If that ONE rider is old enough to make a concious decision that they don't want to wear a vest even though they know it could kill them (I question, their intelligence, but thats fine). Why people DO get all up in arms is because they're afraid they will make an impression on kids who don't know better and spread harmful behavior.

I personally think it's irresponsible of a pro to not wear a vest because they are promoting it to kids who idolize them. So if you're wondering WHY people get all up in arms, its not for the reason you posted.

holdsworth, +1
