|
|
I'd like to get my sub box up off the carpet to avoid any moisture. Does anybody have any clever ideas for what I can use as feet? I'm looking to raise it an inch or two. The feet would also be visible so I'd like them to look decent. _________________ My Boat: 2008 Sea Ray 205 Sport w/ Tower

just use S.S. bolts that are 3-4 inchs long with 2 nuts drill holes for all 4 corners first put one nut all the way down push bolt into hole then put nut on inside then take nut that is on the out side and run it up to set the height you want I would seal with Liquid nails on inside |

I put mine up on 2x4's that I carpeted. I looked into furniture feet too, but I needed to go a bit taller. Another option would be to look at getting some sort of plastic rod and drill out the center to make your own. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

I took a 2" PVC pipe and cut it in half and drilled them into the box. They stick out about 1.5" past the box on all 4 corners, which I used to drill that into my carpet and floor. I did that as an extra measure, honestly I don't think I had to but I didn't want the box moving at all.
Best,
