Will this help with my boat being weighed down? Im not sure what the standard prop is on my 2006 X1 but was recommended this prop...

I would look to see what your prop is now. I'm loving the 1235 ACME that's on my A22.

I'm pretty sure that is what I changed mine to. Its been a couple of years though. The hole shot is SOOO much better. You wouldn't even know the boat was loaded down.

Same boat as you just a little older. (I have the same screen name on MC's TeamTalk)

I'm pretty sure they didnt put those on at the factory until......08, 09??

Oh.....and just know that your top end is going to drop. If you plan on flying around the lake, your RPMs are going to go crazy.

yup acme 1235 is killer. but as mentioned your RPMs will go way up. but most still actually get better gas milage do to less full throttle time needed to get on plane.
now if you do alot of cruising or your riding spot is far from the dock, you might not do so well with gas milage.
