Hey,
Alot of guys here in Abu Dhabi ride System bindings.
None of them had anything bad to say about them. I've heard only good things like amazing control, very comfortable and so on. |

2 friends of mine use the system bindings with murray boots, the reason they got them was because they wanted to share the same board but have their own personal boots.
Seemed like a good idea, but when they got it they wanted their personal stance, so it was difficult to share a board in the end.
When it comes to speed of getting your feet on the board, I can get into my laced bindings faster than they can get onto their board with their boots already on.
With regards to the feel of the bindings, I wouldnt know. I expect it to feel almost the same as a pair of closed toe bindings.
My opinion over it all, is everyone should have their own personal board and bindings, and as youre not constantly getting in and out of bindings when behind a boat, you dont need that quick and easy system, even if it was a few seconds faster.
When riding cable however, its seems it would be very useful.
I took a look at the ronix ones the other day, they look pretty nice. Will be getting myself a pair.
@Vea, I live in Bahrain, but just got back from Dubai/Abu Dhabi and was at the cable for the first time on Saturday, went for the full day, was awesome, great place and will be back, my body still hurts. Will definitely be back there soon. |

| FlatH20, I haven't ridden them myself but have talked to a few people with them. They said that the system is just OK for now and they would wait until they get beefed up a little bit before picking up a set. Basically, it's a good idea and works pretty well, but needs to be a little more developed before it will be something that can really take off. |

Definately will be coming regularly.
And yeah its a great workout! I was there from 1pm to 10pm on saturday, could barely hold on to the handle any longer. Ended up messing around and launching off the platform barefoot with the operator there.
I take it youre a regular then? Im sure ill run into you at some point if so.
Sorry for the hijack. |

yo gents - - no worries about the hijack - I plan to hit up the cables soon - sounds like I'll be waiting for a couple iterations on the system bindings - I don't ride the cable yet but get the bigger pic - never thought about the speed of getting the feet on the board - but that's important- good insight... I'll stick with the Ronix one's for this season or until something breaks/
Dubai/ Abu Dhabi- throw me some vids - the water's colder than stuff here and I need some candy |

Heres a question to you, I have tried the Liquid Force 2011 Shanes size 11-12 on and they fit perfectly. I want to order a pair of Ronix ones, not sure if I should order size 11 or size 12. I dont have the option to try them on. I might be back in abu dhabi in 2 weeks and maybe I can try size 11 then. Are they true to size or should I go a size larger or smaller? Im size 12 US for sports shoes.
Here 2 videos I found on youtube of the abu dhabi cable park.

| I used to ride a pair of bindings that were size 11-12, and just got a pair of the Ronix Ones as well. I went with size 12 and was glad I did. I've got just enough wiggle room at the tip of my toes to make it comfortable, but they are still a tight enough fit to where I'm not sliding around. If you're on the bigger end of the 11/12 boot, I'd definitely order the 12. |

| my one's were pretty true to size - if you wear a twelve get a twelve - also - they can be heat molded to your feet - highly recommend going down this path - thanks for the vids... love it ! |
