I'm still rocking my CWB Platinum from 5-6 years ago, probably keep that for this year as well.... But I haven't really been in the market for a while now.

My buddy who relies on me for all his wakeboarding purchases needs a new board for his 12 year old kid. What's a good board for that age group? He weighs in around 80-90 lbs, he's not a bad little wakeboarder. Goes wake to wake, working on 180's and grab ect ect. boards behind a 2010 Xstar. I'll look for something like a last years model.

Any suggestions out there?

When I got my board when I turned 15 last year and was weighing around 110 pounds I just went to the local wakeboard shop and they helped me pick out a set up. I got a 2009 Ronix Mana 134 with the 2009 Ronix mana bindings. So id probably suggest a 132 cm sized board.

Liquid Force also has some kids boards. I have zero expirience with them but something to look into perhaps.
