So I found another possible boat, but need some help before i get excited about it.... In 2000 were there different models of wakesetter v drives? Or were they all vlx?... I ask because when i questioned the seller the response was there was only one model of V-drive wakesetter in 2000.... If this is true can i assume its not the diamond hull?
thanks guys, ricky
edit... So the seller got back with me and its a wakesetter escape... what hull is this, how will the wake compare to a vlx of the same year, and whats the stock MLS weight?

I believe diamond was an option, check with your dealer though. Not to bring up another controversial heated discussion, but even if it is diamond, I find no difference. I have a diamond 07 setter, and have ridden wake hull, I can't tell the difference with both boats loaded the same. I have attached a pic, 22 Mph 75 feet. No extra weight but MLS and no wedge. Diamond gets it done.
