Where are all the posters?

So earlier in my career wakeboarding I let it slide because the sport was pretty new, not a lot of people had heard about it.

But these days? Does anyone else find it a little ridiculous that we don't have any amount of selection for wakeboarding posters? I think i've seen a handful every time i search and they're usually not even the full size of a normal poster and they almost always are at a bad angle or just completely suck.

Does anyone else wonder where all the posters are at? I'm at the point where I might have to start taking some shots of myself and printing some posters.

Should get in touch with some of the photographers and see if they'd sell you licensing rights to some of their work. Could start your own wakeboard poster business. I'd probably buy one/some if someone were to jump on that.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I was looking around for nicely framed prints of both wake and snow boarding. I found quite a few real nice snowboarding prints, but nothing decent for wake. Rolling Eyes

Josh did some that we sell on boardstop and boardflix.com. We have the parks poster that we have had for a while that was done by Isler.

Most people just do not do posters because of the cost and there is not really any place to sell them. I bet we have moved more of the Josh posters than they have. He only did 500 or so of each and I know they still have some in stock so they just do not move that fast.

Doing posters costs a bit of upfront money and I guess they are just hard to make your money back on them.
