Hi,
Just went wakeboarding for the first time this season and for the first time with my new gear. Never had my own gear.
The problem I have is that my bindings are still wet. How do you guys dry your bindings? Or do you leave them wet? Sorry but I didn't find an answer to my question yet.
It's tough, especially with closed toes they can develope some stink.
Had mine two years and they're doin alright. I normally take my sets early in the morning and toss the board in the board racks after we pull the boat into the boat slip at the boat house. Sunset sessions though I usually just set the board in a screened in porch to air dry since the boat gets tucked in and spiders poop all over everything in the boat house at night I would not leave it there. _________________ Wake Forest University
I have CT bindings and what I do is put hand towels into them so that they're totally full of towel and there's a bit of a squeeze to draw out the water. It seems to work very well, but do I need to be worried about stretching them out over time by doing this or about them developing mold from me storing them under my bed? Do bindings get moldy? _________________ rally to the wake
I don't do anything to dry my bindings (also CT). If I'm taking another set and they're still damp and it's tough to get my foot in, I just use a little shaving cream (read cheapest binding lube ever made) and stomp my feet in. I've had the same CT bindings for 3 years now, haven't had a problem with mold or stink (never put my nose by them and inhale deeply so I don't get the issue of them 'stinking').
Use your board
Store your board in garage or someplace you'd never have to smell it
