How do you know if a board is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced board by looking at them? I have wakeboarded a few times on a friends board but getting a boat and want a board for of my own. I think I am going to get an intermediate board being a beginner!! Which rocker style should I go with?

Hey welcome to wakeboarder.com. You'll find that this topic has been posted many times here and if you browse around the forum you can probably find all of the answers you're looking for.

That said, here's my .02 worth. The best way to find the right board for you is to demo as many different setups as possible and find the one you like. Obviously that's not really possible for a lot of people.

The alternative is read up on the various boards available (there are LOTS of them) and try to pick one that you feel suits your style and skill level. Don't get all hung up on rocker choice or board size or whether its an advanced board etc. Just find a board size in your weight range and find some COMFORTABLE, QUALITY bindings. Then get out and ride the hell out of it.

Finally, if you post your weight and your budget, we can probably help you find a setup you like.
