So I dislocated my knee in June wakeskating and i had my ACL and PCL reconstructed (mcl was torn but not fixed). I got that done in July so its been just around 7 months now since my operation. Ive been very active with my knee recovery and feeling pretty good lately so really wanting to get back to riding. I still have a bit of weakness but not to much. I was just wondering if anyone else might have had a similiar injury and how long it took them to get back to riding?

Ya im right there with you. Last June I hit a massive double up and landed out in the flats and when i did i blew my acl tore my meniscus in 4 places and tore the cartilage on my femur. I had my surgery done at the end of july and its been about 7 months also. I did my PT 7 days a week till my PTist was done with me. Then i started riding my bike about 30 miles a week and then it got cold and i havent done anything from december on. My knee feels fine but like yours still is a little weak. I plan on getting a custom brace but havent gone to order one. I need to call my PTist this week and see as far as agility and strength training goes what all i can do now that its been 6 months.

did that a couple years back. Mine wasn't as bad as you guys, it took me about 4 months to get back on the water. But about another month or so to get my confidence back up. I still wear knee braces on both knees now, just to be safe.
