|
|
Just bought a Monster MT1 and would like to mount 2 wakeboard/kneeboard racks on it.
Anyone have experience with Cheerwake or have suggestions on a manufacturer that you recommend. I found Cheerwake on Ebay. I know they are out of China but are made of 6016 aluminum and from pics don't look high end but don't look bad and the price is right.
I can't see buying high end racks unless someone has some experience I am missing to tell me why I should.
Thanks for any all advice |

The Cheerwake stuff is pretty much identical to a lot of the product you'll find in US stores: just factory direct. It'll do the job but that's about it.
The concern is that it's polished aluminum and relatively soft. So will require regular polishing and maintenance. The Monster product is built to a far higher standard, anodised and backed by solid warranty (5 years, USA mainland). It can also easily be move to your next boat as the universal clamp will go on anything up to 2.5".
I've worked with both products and much prefer the Monster product.
Just my 2 cents _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

If you're worried about keeping the racks polished and looking good, I saw that the cheerwake stuff is usually offered in black powder coated as well. |

Do you have to email them to get prices? |

The prices are below their usual Buy It Now Ebay prices. I was wanting combined shipping as well as a package price so I emailed directly. So specifically I can't say you "must email" direct to get the price but I would recommend it. If you need the email addy PM me and I can give it to you. I don't want to have him spammed to death nor break any rules. |

OK. I went to their web site, and they didn't have any prices listed. I'll check out ebay.
Thanks. |
