So I've gotten pretty hardcore into my workout/diet regieme the past 6 weeks been seeing improvements and enjoying myself trying to gear my body to be more efficient out on the water.
My main goal was to lose weight while keeping muscle as much as possible and of course trimming the fat. Unfortunately, I seem to have packed on a couple more pounds due to muscle gain.
So I'm wondering now if becoming lighter will help? |

Personally - I'm not a horse jockey, so I worry more about being healthy, fit, and strength over just size. Being fit for me at 6'1" is 180 lbs. Much less and I feel weak, much more and I feel cumbersome.
It's up to you, but being fit and able to use your muscles effectively is more important, in my mind, than an overall weight number. |

Yeah, I thought about it more. There are pro like Rusty who I know have more poundage than I and still launch themselves.
So I suppose it always comes down to practice.
