Nicely done. I'm thirsty. The other projects on your site are cool too... the buggy looks fun. What's powering that thing?

That is awesome work! However, you might want to check the rules with your state because in Texas you have to have a licensed engineer who works for you full time to have "Engineering" in your title. If not you can be fined and you will have a hard time getting a license later.

To answer a few questions, I do have a licensed engineer on retainer for approving plans when need be. In any event he could be considered "employed" (good to have friends).

As for the buggy its a 1970's GS750 motorcycle motor, the real funny part is after the bike motor it goes into a ATV forward/reverse transmission. So you can actually put it in reverse & hit all 5 gears from the bike motor in revers. I like to say "I can get out of trouble just as fast as I got into it"

Gotta do something to pass the time when the lake is frozen.

Sounds good. Texas is a little more involved than that. I am not trying to be an azz or anything just watching out for you, I know all states are different. Do you have any videos of the buggy?

Nice power choice. I've always wanted to try to build some kind of buggy. If I wasn't such a lake rat I'd be more into sand than I already am.
