I went to orientation this past Sat. and start training next Sat. Should make for a fun time this winter. I won't be a actual patroller till next season, this year is all training. I do get to ride for free anytime I want though.

I've always wanted to do this, but I don't really have the time. Sad

pet575, Yup, Crescent. Not a great place, but should be fun to learn on. Easy hill to patrol too lol. Have you been there?

chavez, Things are pretty slow in the winter for me, construction business and all. I'd be over there about every weekend anyway.

Okie Boarder, Didn't even know you lurked in here Laughing

Used to go there as a kid. Then they opened up a fake hill just north of KC so we started going there instead. Wasn't much to it back in the day but it was better than sitting on the couch!

Lol, yeah with a whole 300 vert drop it isn't much at all. I want to move to Co. in a couple years, this will be perfect for training and get my foot in the door with the patrol. They got new owners a few years ago and have been working on the place, and focusing a bit more on the terrain park....so yeah, better then couch surfing all winter and getting fat. How is that hill by KC anyway? Probably not much better I'd imagine.

From what I remember there isn't much difference between the two. BUT, if you can't get very far west from the Missouri River it is decent enough after a good snowfall.

Yeah I checked out their trail map and stats, looks about the same. Couple more trails, little more terrain, not much though. Us poor flat landers take what we can get Laughing
