I've got my 3's down good enought to where i feel like ive got enough time for the 5. I can do heel 5s at the cable all day but bring it to the boat and i just cant spin it. I'm waiting for pop, maybe too long? Once im up i get the handle on the 3 and just do not have the time for the last 180.. Practice on the trampoline? thnx for the help
Without a video to see what you are doing, its tough to tell you what you need to fix. I'd say don't try and leave earlier, you want to really wait and get max pop. Cheating off the wake doesn't really work. Try and come in with an edge that allows you to really square up and pop hard off the top. Spinning with your knees pulled up makes a big difference. Can you do a big, slow, grabbed 3? It's a different approach than a regular HS 3 and very similar to what you want to do on a 5.
