Good initial coverage, COLD temps for snowmaking, it's on.

Yep! It's on!

The first significant Sierra storm is on the way starting
Friday!! When the National Weather Service website reports there is a
100% chance of precipitation odds are pretty good for a lot of
accumulation...local weather forecasters are calling for approximately 2
feet of sn...ow in town with totals as high as 4 feet of fresh powder over
the crest and higher elevations by Monday.

I took my first turns at Sierra at Tahoe yesterday. Conditions were awesome. Would be back there today, but my kid got sick at the daycare there and don't have anyone to watch him. Oh, how I had missed winter!

i'm in Park City right now... coverage is good, got about 8 inches last night, not as many runs open as i'd hoped but it's still great. not many people around this early either.

Just got back from Breck on Sunday. Had a blast. Attempted my first 3 off one of the "medium" kickers at the park, probably 6 ft of air or so; came up a little short, but slid it into the 3. Also got my first big 180 off the kicker, which has always concerned me on the landing. I usually just do grabs off the big guys and attempt 3s, bs1s on the smaller stuff.

Weather was amazing, not any new snow while we were there, but in the upper 30s and sunny all week.

I'd like to get one more trip in, but not sure I'll be able to swing it with school..

One perk of living where I do in the lovely lake effect snow belt of Lake Ontario.... Plenty of snow Late Nov - March.

This was from Bristol Mountain, Canandaigua NY last night.

Then some other earlier season pics in December.

3MileBayWaker, nice picts; looks super flat in those shots, not sure I've seen a park like that

This is what I'm used to seeing:

It has a decent grade to it but I was on the chair lift and it looks deceiving, this shot was just just above the half pipe, and consider this terrain park a green circle. I don't have any pics of the other park but is considerably more challenging.

www.bristolmountain.com has more pics.

WOW, conditions are unreal right now. Had 6-8 feet of untracked powder too board on all day friday. Then another 2 feet fell on friday night for an epic day of riding yesterday in 8+ feet of snow, i can barely move today though. People were going in early because it was so deep. Sugarbowl was on class 4 avalanche control yesterday, sierra snow labs came out and the snowpack was pretty gnarly. Powder on ice, followed by feet of powder on wind deposits.

Shocked that is crazy. 1.5-2 feet fell last night, with more on the way.... Sugarbowl pretty much closed down today due to wind and snow. Tomorrow and Sunday should have some light deep powder Cool

What an epic month. 18 feet in the last 9 days, 23 feet for the month of march. Loving all this powder, the 4 hour drive to sugarbowl today sucked ass though, should have taken 1 hour.....Leaving earlier tomorrow hopefully will beat the gridlock. the mountain was closed friday, and only halfway open today, meaning 5 feet of untouched powder waiting in the bowls Cool
