Well Just got back from my first run with my new HL Marek Bio I got on Friday. Other then the water temp dropping down to 70 and it being pretty choppy it was a great day. My first impression was I love the board it tracks as well as my 05 3DS but is about 1/2 the weight and has quite a bit more pop. I wish I had brought my 3DS today to see if it would have handled the chop a bit better cause the Marek was not great on the back part of the channel where the water got some good size chop to it but my wife said she could feel it in the boat as well so my guess is it would have been the same for either board. The good news for me is the water was not as cold as I thought it would be with a week of temps in the 40's at night this week so it looks like I should get a few more weeks with just a shorty wet suit. All in all a day in the water is always good and I think I am going to love the new board once I get it on good water, anyone else have this board if so what is your impression on less then ideal conditions?
be glad you got to go, only one of my friends has a pair so we couldn't go today without a third
Yea definatly was a good day and all my buddies are done for the year as well and the water isn't even that cold yet but luky for me I have a cool wife that wants to go and a daughter that I can make go.

That sucks. My best days on the water over the years have been the ones where its just me and my best riding bud Matt. Fortunately SC law doesn't require a third/spotter if the boat is equipped with a mirror. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
