Hey there, im new to wakeboarding but got a boat and got some savings for buying a good board and bindings i had a wakeboard but it really wasnt comfortable since it was all size fit and the bindings felt too tight for me, even tough ive had this board for 1 month i could only waked like 3 times because it was very uncomfortable so i gave it to my little brother since it fits perfect for him.
Ive been looking those 3 brands of wakeboard, i dont do any tricks just stand up and thats all, ive been looking for getting more skills like edging, jumping, etc i wake in ocean only no lake.
What board you recommend me? Also ive seen closed bindings or open bindings whats the difference and which is better for a newb?
i weight 217 lbs and my height is between 5.7 and 5.8 " feet, which lenght should i use?.
25 years old
Sorry about the long text and maybe kinda bad english, it isnt my first language, im buying my board and bindings shipped since here theres no options to see
Thanks all appreciate your help
and im glad im going to start wakeboarding soon |

All 3 companies make quality gear, about anything from them will suit your needs. Look for a board that is for intermediate level riders, a "beginner" board will get stale fast, and a "pro" model might be a little hard to handle.
At your height and weight a 141(+) will work well for you. Personally I prefer closed toe, but if you have more then just you riding it open toes will fit a wider variety of sizes. _________________

I like the lace type because I like my bindings tight. _________________

They all look good, but I have no experience with Liquid Force gear. I'm a Hyperlite fan boy lol. Maybe someone else will chime in that has rode some of these. _________________

All of those set ups would work perfectly for you. I would recommend getting the biggest board that you can, 142-146ish would work great. There are no disadvantages for getting a bigger board at your skill level/size.
I have experience with pretty much all of those liquid force boards either having ridden it myself or know people who ride those boards, and really every one would be good and will last you for several seasons. Even if you do start learning more tricks, those boards would allow you to progress.
One suggestion I might make is the fact that you don't necessarily need to get a brand new setup. You could check out websites like closeoutdude.com that have last years models, or even blemished products that still ride just as good. Often companies do not even change anything about the board year to year except the graphics.
Also as far as velcro vs. laces, velcro may be misleading but you can definitely get those just as tight as lace boots. And as far as close toe vs open toe, everyone on here thinks that closed toe is the most amazing thing ever but as far as i'm concerned it makes hardly a difference. So basically, you can't go wrong with any of those options. |

| You need to try a few boards and see what you like. I have a Ronix One, a Hyperlite 3DS and am getting a new Hyperlite Marek (Will be here Friday) and it depends on how the board feels to you they will all work fine just a preference thing. Personly I like the Hyperlite continuous rocker but my buddy prefers the Ronix One with the three stage so I sold him my Ronix |

| I've had experience with all three brands and like they said above they all make quality gear. Demo a few boards and find out what your personal preference is. My last three boards have been Liquid Force and I have loved them. |

| My first board was a Liquid Force and I totally loved it. As for bindings I prefer the open toe version, I feel too constricted with the closed toe. |
