How to annoy a scammer

I have gotten a couple calls from a scammer acting like he was from a company that I did business with a couple years ago. The first call was that I had a $17 rebate from my purchase and they asked if they could credit my card. I told them the card had expired and they asked for another card to put it on. I told her to mail me a check and hung up. Then today I got a call from the same "business" saying I won something and I can claim it with a small processing fee. I called the company (A pottery studio) and told them. They said someone got a hold of some info but that it didn't come from them because they don't throw away any information. The stupid part is that the guy who called today sounded like a redneck (This is a high end sculpture studio) and the number that came up was a different area code. It was in Merced, CA and the number is registered to Cricket communications. So my question is what can I do to these people. contact the cops, it may be a part of a larger ring. getting their ass thown in jail would be pretty sweet =)
