Hey Everyone,
Wanted to solicit some feedback on a new feature that we are looking to add to our arsenal. Originally intended for Snow, but I feel it could be a sick collection for your water frontage or your local cable park. It consists of an aluminum frame construction, so floats could easily be adapted into the assembly; or a fixed 4x4 bracket can be fab'd up to allow for a permanent application. Review the pictures and share with me your thoughts. If your interested on how much, well you'll have to call me for that.

Looks good but on your site $520 for a rebadged sawhorse. This thing cannot be cheap.

The Portable (the rebadged sawhorse, which is actually a pretty sick name for it) isn't everyone's cup of tea, and it costs what it costs. Considering who you ask some may think that's cheap, bearing in mind that a 8 foot stick of 2x2 aluminum tubing from Fastenal will put you over the $100 mark. But we're getting off subject and you may be surprised at what something like this costs considering it's simple weldment construction. Thanks for the feedback.

This one is 16ft long and 18in wide which gives you an arc length of around 17ft.

That's not long enough. On a wakeboard you'll be hitting this at 20mph+. I haven't spent much time on rail design, but I always hear it needs to be 40 ft+

I was thinking the same thing. You couldn't do much on a 20' other than a quick bonk. You'd probably miss the entire second half since the first would basically act like a ramp at that speed unless you seriously absorbed it. You might be able to get away with 30'.

With Snowboarding roots sometimes it's difficult for me to conceptualize this but I see entirely what you mean. That is why these thread discussions are valuable to me.
Verdict is, that at this length, it's not worth it. It is possible for us to manufacture a similar feature at a much larger scale, like the 30-50 ft in length that was mentioned here. Anyway, thanks for the education.

agreed, killer rail, but not long enough for wake boarding. i would concentrate on a 30-40 version

closer to 60 ft. even 40 is pretty short.

| Thanks for the feedback I'm going to look into this one a bit more. Anyone got anything that they'd like for their local park or their backyard shoreline? I'm looking to exercise my CAD muscle and draw up some Wake features for some Photo renderings. I need inspiration! Thanks..
