Super stoked! Got my new Aerial Assault tower on the other day, took it out and it rides awesome!

The tower installed fairly easily, but took us prolly 10-12 hours before we got it set the way I wanted. My boat has 4 factory thickened areas inside the hull (for tower mounting I assume), but only 2 of the 4 thickened areas aligned with the tower mount locations. So we added plywood backing to the other two areas. The back mounts perfectly flush, but we couldn't find a spot on the front for the front mounts to lie perfectly flush. The tower came with 3/16" or 1/4" hard rubber "washers" that help take up some of the gap, but not all. I need to get a machined washer (anyone know where to get some? I recall seeing some tower manufacturer comes with some concave thick spacers?). Anyway, we got it all tightened up nicely and I polished the crap out of the thing about 5 minutes before it rained LOL. Anyway, it looks killer!!

Took it out to ride only once and this is prolly my last time this season since they've drained the stuff outta the lake. I feel like I just turned 21 but now have to wait 6 more months to drink Crying or Very sad It seems rock solid and I've never jumped higher - no question.

I then had to modify my bimini frame. I had to rebend two of the 3 C-shaped 7/8" aluminum pole frames. I just rented a 1" dia pipe bender for $9, and started bending. I had to cut the 2 modified frames right in the middle of the "C", then bent the sides, then epoxied a wooden dowel to splice the ends back together. It worked beautifully and I was kinda shocked we were able to do it.

Pics below...I'm super stoked and can't wait till next season. Maybe I'll try to sneak out just once more this week tho Very Happy .

Yeah I guess I could get two thick aluminum washers and try to grind them down. The front two lined up perfectly.
